Some notes from Saturday at Khuraira Boutique: Interviews, relaxation and fun.

Interview with Nicole, bride to be.

How did you hear about Khuraira?

After endlessly searching for airbrush makeup artists, I finally found Khuraira through the wedding website, www.theknot.com. There were many reviews and I was pleased with what I saw.

Why did you decide to get your makeup professionally done in the first place?

Well, I am getting married soon and I wanted to ensure that on my wedding day I have just something extra special. I wanted to have extra spiff, look natural, light and beautiful.

What were your expectations before you entered the boutique?

From the pictures I saw on the website, I could tell that the boutique was intimate and very comfortable. I got the vibe that it was welcoming.

What was your favorite makeup product and why?

I was honestly a little skeptical about even getting my makeup done in the first place. The last time I had makeup professionally applied I hated it and washed it off as soon as I got home! At Khuraira's, I honestly liked everything. Especially the finisher spray, it was invisible and added the final touch! I felt very pretty and like I looked natural.

What are your overall opinions about Khuraira and the boutique?

I absolutely loved it! I was a little nervous at first because I was not sure what the vibe of the boutique would be. It really stood out because the feel inside the store was relaxed and there was no judge mental attitudes from the staff or other customers.

How would you describe the vibe of the store in three words or less.

1. Welcoming
2. Relaxing
3. Pleased

My boutique experience exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to coming back!

Interview with Sally, Englewood

What do you like about Khuraira Boutique?

It is friendly, warm and casual. I come to the boutique at least once a week because it is my guilty makeup pleasure!

What do you like about Khuraira?

The first time I walked into the boutique I was not interested in the makeup line; I was actually picking up a gift certificate for a benefit dinner that I was hosting. Right away I felt comfortable in the boutique and became curious about the products.

What do you like about the boutique and the products?

I like that khuraira's team really cares. There is no pressure to buy any of the products; they really are just concerned about helping you look your best so that you can feel your best.

I really knew the products were amazing because of how long lasting and smooth they were. The first time Khuraira did my makeup, I accidentally fell asleep later in the day because I didn't feel well. When I woke up I was so nervous that I ruined the makeup application. It was absolutely delighting when I looked in the mirror and saw that the makeup was not smudged or messed up at all. It stay in place and I still looked flawless.

What would you recommend about Khuraira?

She is warm, caring and has great products! You can walk in feeling terrible and looking sluggish and walk out feeling like you belong on the cover of a magazine.

She stands by all her products and remains true to her customers.

Khuraira Dark Circle Primer is what you need! Read below to find out why its beauty editors hottest pick.

When we first saw this Khuraira product, some of us thought, "Ooh, a new lip gloss!" Others thought, "Ooh, a new cream blush!" Not a single person thought, "Ooh, a primer for dark circles!" And why would we? It's orange. http://www.newbeauty.com/dailybeauty/entry.aspx?ID=2023

It is a bright orange under-eye primer and concealer. Where in the world does that make sense, right? Find out more at: http://www.latina.com/beauty/skin-nails/does-really-work-khuraira-primer

So Khuraira’s orange concealer is innovative and creative. However, for deep dark circles it works. Find out more at: http://hellobeautiful.com/your-glam/hello-beautiful-staff/concealer-101-with-ashunta-sheriff/

Khuraira discovered an unexpected tool to conceal dark under eye circles—coral lipstick. The orange undertone seemed to imperceptibly mask stubborn purple shadows. http://beautyguroo.blogspot.com/2009/04/orange-aid.html
