It's a worthwhile investment in time, money and energy that requires months of serious planning; an event during which anything less than perfection should not be acceptable. That should also be the case for your hair and makeup on that day. Talking of makeup, your wedding day is not the day for you to hire a gal pal as your makeup artist to save a few pennies. 1- Browse through bridal magazines to find the look that might appeal to your individual style. When choosing a look, keep in mind the season and time of your special day.

2- At least six months before the wedding, schedule a trial with a professional makeup artist.
