Eyebrow Threading Basics

Eyebrow threading, a depilation technique that originated in India and was popularized in the Middle East, is a sought-after service by women who desire a clean, well-defined brow shape. The aesthetician twists and rolls cotton thread along the skin, entwining the hair in the thread, gently lifting it from the follicle.

Threading is cleaner, quicker and less invasive than waxing or tweezing, both of which can irritate the delicate skin around the brow area. It is recommended that brows be threaded every two to three weeks to maintain their desired shape. View our eyebrow threading video to learn more about this enhancement technique.
